The Early Bird Gets the Worm

It's official...I have Spring fever!  And to prove it, here are a few of my latest creations.

The handcrafted creations are done on 5x7" art boards using acrylic paints and various elements (most elements by K&Co.) with a vintage springtime flair.

The digital collage was done with the help of The Graphics Fairy and her amazing stockpile of images.  She's so cool to share like she does.

One Last Valentine

Okay, I know Valentine's Day is over and it's time to move on.  But I have one last piece of Valentine artwork to share with you.

This piece was done by hand on a 5x7" art board with acrylic paint and miscellaneous elements.  I'm currently working on some Spring pieces that I'll be posting soon.  Until then, happy creating!

Valentine's and a Giveaway

I was asked by The Blue Faerie over at Dancing with a Spatula Wand to make a couple tags to accompany a giveaway she'll be having in February.  If you've found this blog from her site, welcome!  If not, you should definitely check out her blog.  She's doing an entire month dedicated to chocolate!  How can you pass that up?  Well I couldn't pass it up, so I made some small Valentine's themed tags and sent them off to her.  I know what they're going to be attached to but I don't want to spoil the surprise.  However, I will show you the tags I created for her...

These tags are, like all my work so far, one of a kind original pieces.  There are no duplicates as they are made completely by hand...no digital work on these.  Keep checking back with The Blue Faerie for more details on her Month of Chocolate!  Thanks for dropping by!

Holiday Gifts pt. 2

Now that Christmas is over and all the gifts have been passed out, I can finally show you some of the crafts I created for the season.  First up, some art boards...

For my sister who is a hairdresser

For my step-mom who loves angels

And some bookmarks/tags...

From left to right they were for my Dad, my crazy daughter, my Mom, and my punk/rock niece.

And there you go!  They all loved their gifts by the way, and I hope you enjoy them too.  All the tags were dome completely by hand.  The art boards were done digitally and then adhered to 6"x8" art boards.  Happy holidays!
